'10 out of 10!'
Great, spacious villa with a fantastic pool. The kids loved the teddies and parents loved the welcome food and toiletries pack. The local team of Neil and Steve were lovely and helpful. Great places to explore - especially loved Mirepoix for markets and fishing and an excellent boulangerie in Belveze du Razes. We hope to come back one day!

'Another fab stay here'
We were last here in 2013 and our second visit was as wonderful as the first. In addition to Carcassone we would reccomend Lac Montbel - beautiful, Narbonne Plage if you're looking for a beach. The Saint Maurice restaurant in Mirepoix square had excellent food - two courses 16.95 - a definite must!
This is a beautiful area and still much to explore so no doubt we'll be back again. Highly reccommended.

'An absolutely wonderful holiday'
A beautiful villa with stunning views- we were wowed the second we walked through the door. We made the most of the pool and barbeque, visited the wonderful Monday market in Mirepoix and found the most amazing cookies and tarts in the boulangerie in Limoux.
An absolutely wonderful holiday, heading home now suitably refreshed. Thank you.

'Perfect for a Relaxing Break'
Villa Toto is a wonderful base for visiting this part of France. It is comfortable and very well-equipped. The pool, barbecue and outdoor dining are perfect for when the sun shines but even the odd rainy day didn't bother us because it was great to curl up with a book or catch up on some TV! The welcome pack on arrival was a godsend, given that we'd somehow managed to miss all the supermarkets on our drive. There was plenty there (meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, milk, fruit juice and wine) to provide us with a substantial meal on the first evening so that we were able to unpack and relax and leave the shopping for the next day. I should also mention that all bedding, towels and even toiletry packs were supplied which has certainly not been the case at many other places we have stayed. The villa is quite remote with wonderful views, so perfect for a relaxing break. The closest small town/village is about 10-15mins drive and has a great boulangerie, boucherie/charcuterie and a small but well-stocked supermarket. There are lots of places to visit in the area, from small, mountain-top villages to bustling towns to the spectacular Carcassonne. Whichever direction you head out in, the views are breath-taking. We often just stopped the car so that we could take it all in. I would have happily stayed for longer!

'Happy family memories are made here'
From the moment you open the front door until the moment you leave you feel the relaxing welcome that is Villa Toto!
Amazing yummy food and drink pack waiting.
Toiletry pack for all the grown ups.
Teddy on each child's bed which made them feel special and immediately at home.
Space and enough for 3 generations of the family to spread or party.
Lovely villa, gardens and pool made for a great holiday!

'Beautifully presented, comfortable villa '
Fabulous family holiday to celebrate our Golden wedding. Beautifully presented, comfortable villa enjoyed by 3 generations. Very good pool enjoyed by the whole party aged from 5 to 73, plenty of places to visit. Well done Rosses and your friends in France.

Toto tops all!
We would like to thank you both for what was a most enjoyable week in Carcassonne. The area is beautiful and although we only visited 4 or 5 places due to the heat, we would most definitely like to return soon to explore further.
The beautiful Villa Toto, combined with your obvious care and attention to detail, was the perfect albeit too brief home for our two families. The teddies, the lego, maps, toiletries and welcome pack to name but a few. We have visited Tuscany and the Algarve in similar trips recently, but Toto topped them all!
We met Henry, Kay and Tony during our stay and all were very friendly & helpful in resolving any minor teething problems or questions we had about local places.

An excellent holiday in a very well equipped and comfortable house and we never ran out of things to do or places to explore'
Three generations had an excellent holiday at Villa Toto. The weather in mid July 2014 was changeable, which did not help the pool temperature, but that apart, all the facilities either lived up to or exceeded our expectations. The local residents who support guests at the villa were extremely kind and helpful. Thanks to all of them. The villa is in a remote area, so there is no question of just nipping round the corner for your morning bread. However, we were able to get all we needed at the various shops a short drive away, and the local towns of Limoux and Mirepoix are delightful. We especially enjoyed the 13 Juillet fireworks at Limoux, sitting on rocks by the River Aude. We were not impressed by the congestion/chaos that prevailed at Carcassonne airport, I think entirely due to Ryanair packing too many flights into a short space of time at a small regional airport. The adjacent car hire firms were overstretched for the same reason. That apart, we really did have an excellent holiday in a very well equipped and comfortable house and we never ran out of things to do or places to explore. Well done, the owners!

'A Truly Amazing Getaway'
A wonderful location, far from the madding crowd, a complete rest even with two children in tow! Easy to find, immaculate property with everything covered with some lovely touches. Great for large parties of people or just a small family. The house was well laid out and the grounds were beautiful. Swimming pool was a total hit with all and the children were in it every day. The views were stunning, with the mountains in the distance and French countryside in the foreground. Plenty of space for several cars, large eating area outside with b-b-q, games to play and areas within the house you could just chill out in. A pleasure to go to and would happily go back again which is not normally what we do but could easily go back for another week of relaxing, fun and the odd bottle of local wine here and there! Well done!

'A corner of Heaven'
Villa Toto is a lovely house, where we really felt at home. Very comfortable, lots of privacy and with a super garden. The outside space is even better than as seen on the website. Good sized swimming pool for real swimming. Amazing views and so quiet, yet not isolated. The town of Mirepoix is only 20 min. drive and well worth a visit, with nice shops, lots of eating and drinking places and a very good weekly market. The rental was easily arranged by email. Thank you Martyn and Carolyn, we are already planning a return!

'Very Good Customer Service'
The house is located in a very quiet place. Rooms distribution is great for 2 families. We were 9 persons (4 adults and 5 kids) and there is enough space for all of us in a comfortable manner. The swimming pool is great and large enough to enjoy a lot.
The property is clean and well maintained, Mr & Mrs Ross provide very good customer services with free WIFI, and they take care about their guests . Two wine bottles ready when we arrived and some foods in the fridge to have a good vacation start.

'An excellent villa with great facilities....'
We were a group of 10 (2 families with kids ranging from 7 to 16). The Villa was excellent with great facilities and in a really beautiful part of France. The area is not too touristy so you can hide away or head off and explore many of the great local sites. The owners provide a good level of information about local area to get you orientated and a bunch of helpful guide books. The pool is great with kids. The house was clean and tidy, furnished well but not cluttered. There was seating for 10 in the dining area inside which was a major point for us when looking for a villa. Lots of places can sleep ten but very few providing seating for ten so you can eat together.....and when in France surrounded but such great food, enjoying sitting down together was really important. The description of the villa is accurate and small things like having some cheese, bread, lunch meats and fruit available when we arrived was very thoughtful and took the stress out of having to head out and find somewhere after arriving late. Great Holiday and if back in this area would definitely book it again.
Paul J - Hawaii - July 2016
The Villa Toto website is a good representation of this holiday home but the location surpassed our expectations! Rolling fields of sunflowers where every turn in the lanes looks like an Impressionist Painting - an artist's heaven. The house itself is light, airy and spacious, very well equipped with every need anticipated. An easy run to Carcassonne airport and the City itself! though a sat-nav came in useful for the network of rural lanes around the hamlet itself. We would definitely like to return to Villa Toto!

'A Wonderful Week'
Our family spent a wonderful week at Villa Toto in July 2017. The villa is tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with all mod cons. There was plenty of room for our three generations (6 adults and two small children). We loved being in such a peaceful location in the middle of the beautiful southern France countryside, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields. Carcassonne is about 20 minutes away and a "must-visit" location. This is a great base to explore, or just to relax around the pool. Definitely recommended!

'A great place to enjoy France at it's best'
Villa Toto has an expansive view of the local countryside and the Pyrenees in the distance. The kitchen, with all new, modern appliances left us wanting for nothing. A good sized sitting room with a fabulous television to watch Wimbledon if you wanted to and a selection of DVD's if you don't.
Five really good sized bedrooms with great shower/bathroom facilities, all immaculate.
This is a very private house - a rural idyll, set in fields growing an array of crops including sunflowers. We took some great walks, venturing up many a farm track - a superb holiday destination and a great place to unwind and enjoy France at it's best.
